This module provides the basis of operational research (concepts, methods, models) for industrial engineers. It aim to enable the students to master linear programming, integer linear programming, graph theory, to model and solve industrial and logistic problems, using optimization softwares.
Discrete event simulation for production management
This module aims to model and analyze, using a dedicated software, a production process in the form of a discrete stochastic event system. On a case study, a manufacturing production process is redesigned and the parameters of the stochastic simulation are adjusted.
This module aims to evaluate logistics performances and industrial activities of a company, analyze performance indicators, identify sources of slowdowns and propose corrective actions.
